Effective December 28, 2017, Cebu Port Authority is strictly implementing the “No Ticket, No ID, No Entry” Policy.
It is for the safety and security of the traveling public entering into the CPA passenger terminals.
All passengers must present a valid ID and boat ticket for verification and confirmation of passenger identity whose name appears on the ticket, otherwise, a passenger will be denied entry into the passenger terminals.
List of Valid ID’s accepted by the Cebu Port Authority
The following ID’s are considered valid for the purpose of identity verification prior to entering the passenger terminals.
- CPA issued ID
- Government issued ID’s such as:
- Agency ID
- SSS ID
- GSIS ID
- Driver’s License
- Firearm License
- PRC ID
- Voter’s ID
- BIR
- Postal ID
- Senior Citizen’s ID
- Integrated Bar of the Philippines ID
- School ID
- Private Company ID
- Passport
For non-schooling minors without ID may be allowed as long as they are accompanied by their parent or relatives with ID.
All passengers are also required to present ID upon purchasing tickets to any shipping lines in the country.
Sojourners, make sure to bring your tickets and valid ID to avoid inconvenience.
