Hello, travelers! President Rodrigo Duterte has signed Presidential Proclamation 269 declaring 18 public holidays for next year, 2018 (Regular and Special Non-Working Holiday) which the Palace announced last July 19, 2017.

So, it’s time for you to prepare planning and plotting your next year’s adventures and vacations in preparation for the promo fares!

For those who are at work, need not worry coz there are long weekends for 2018 which means your vacation leave credits will not be utilized while enjoying 3 to 4 straight days away from work.

Or if you want to enjoy more time with your loved-ones and families you can extend it with Vacation Leaves.


Here are the anticipated long weekends next year:

  • December 30, 2017 to January 1, 2018New Year’s Day long weekend which is Saturday to Monday
  • March 29, 2018 to April 1, 2018- Maundy Thursday to Easter Sunday for the Holy Week Observation 2018
  • April 7, 2018 to April 9, 2018-Araw Ng Kagitingan long weekend which is Saturday to Monday
  • August 25, 2018 to August 27, 2018- National Heroes Day long weekend Saturday to Monday
  • November 1, 2018 to November 4, 2018- All Saints Day and All Souls Day long weekend; Thursday to Sunday
  • November 30, 2018 to December 2, 2018-Bonifacio Day long weekend which is Friday to Sunday
  • December 22, 2018 to December 25, 2018-Christmas Day long weekend Saturday to Tuesday
